The title of Historical Society of Frampton was chosen after much discussion by those present at a Meeting on 16th May where some 20 people declard a willingness to be involved in setting up the Society.  Several interests both local and personal, were identified so the scope oif the Society is to be as wide as required by membera.  Archaeology, local history (river, railway, religion, family, WW2), costume, weapons of war, geneology local and national and natural history were among the interests recorded.

If anyone has local photographs, memories, documents etc they would like to bring to our attention, the plan is to produce a website with as much information included as possible
